Anadolu Etap invests in people to help empower the community. Women agricultural engineers and technicians working on Anadolu Etap firms are being developed to be future leaders. Anadolu Etap supports women entering the workforce and playing a full role in the economy. Anadolu Etap trains women farmers to increase the quality of women workforce and to support women participation in the economy. In 2016, Agro Academy has educated 750 FARMERS, 75% OF WHOM WERE WOMEN, on Fruit Growing & Sustainable Growing. Anadolu Etap is the first agricultural company that builds high standard housing for seasonal workers in order to provide them safe and healthy living conditions. The company also leads “PROJECT MICO” that provides free and continuous education to the children of seasonal workers in a special nursery school within the farms. 8 9
